When I had an edcsonopy done, I wasn't put out completely because the specialist also decided to do a colonoscopy, not due for a few years. I was sedated enough to feel the scope go down my throat and .I think a biopsy was taken, but have no memory of it, thank god! If there's any way to NOT have to have a biopsy done, although my GF-diet is under control now, ie. weight gain is now where it should be, that would be fabulous.
