Starting point/registration: Lathrup Village Municipal Park; 27400 Southfield Rd. (location of the park - 3 blocks north of I-696; east side)
This free tour features five front-yard rain gardens at Lathrup Village homes. The gardens feature native plants as well as a compost-rich planting mix that soaks up rain water and filters out pollutants. Lathrup Village has a network of 28 rain gardens that help keep storm water out of the drains leading to the Rouge River - a beautiful solution to water pollution.

Native wildflowers wlll be available for purchase from the Oakland Wildflower Farm. Several other exhibits...as well as the Lathrup Village Children's Garden...and the Municipal Rain Garden...are worth a visit.




That sounds stpuid Hes lived long so he has to live longer? No ima eat that big ass fish and throw back the small ones, so THEY have a chance to grow. That trout is a predator for smaller trout and fish, taking that one out is not going to hurt the others. If you wanna bitch about unsportsman like conduct, talk about the commercial line fishing, mass amounts of fish are killed, and a percentage that isnt sold, gets thrown.
