This is a ltltie bit off topic, but I found it to be interesting.I was involved in a discussion about water conservation recently and was told about a car dealer that put barrels under their down spouts and was capturing rain water to wash cars with on the car lot. Local authorites put a stop to it saying they did nto have rights to the water.Go figure.Water is one of the oldest fights.

Hi Eric! You raise a point worth further exaaonltipn. What we are developing is the infrastructure to allow students to see how one brand, one action, one object can impact people in what seems to be a world away. If you visit and see the first question bfwhat world do we intend for our children?, then I hope you'll recognize that what we are working on is the answer to that. By connecting this global perspective with local values, students will understand the importance of choosing the intentions behind their actions, be it what they study at school, or what clothes they buy at the mall. If their peers 5,000 miles away are subject to the side-effects of their actions and the students can establish this fact by looking at the similarities and differences and seeing how they are all connected, then I hope that they and all of us collectively when the platform is developed with your support and opened to a broader user base will come to act in a manner more reflective of our intentions. So where does Of Rags fit into all of this? The intentions behind our clothes are to take care of people and express our artistic vision in promotion of peace. Our intention is not to profit off of others. You can see who is part of our team on the page and you can find out about Labadi Town and the work we are doing there all over this site. Our purpose is to amplify the instincts and elevate the skills of people who share our vision our team members, our customers and the individuals involved in our programs. Through the Circle Connection we are getting students involved directly in this work by empowering them to ask questions of one another and of themselves by sharing their own perspective with creativity. In the long run we see the program as the keystone in bringing social and financial transactions together as one. Immediately on the financial side, however, our fundraising activities are rather urgent. We are not trying to take a shortcut to run a program that is out of line with our mission. We have put together a program that is directly part of our mission and will push what we are doing forward in a larger way than selling clothing alone ever could. Every Of Rags team member believes this. Yet this program costs more money than we all have. So as opposed to wait to sell 50,000 articles of clothing what we would need to sell to come close to paying for the Circle Connection and a number that we simply don't have the infrastructure to produce or distribute in our current state we've decided to turn to our community of supporters to help us build the infrastructure to accomplish our mission in a more profound way. The Circle Connection and its sequential program The Afutu Project which lets consumers take part in sourcing their own clothes and involves college campus clubs in determining the value of each item will not only create a day of employment for our six production team members per every ten shirts collected, but it will also build our network of supporters to the point where selling 50,000 garments and connecting 50,000 individuals to a platform of change is the regular activity of our business. Both immediately and over the course of the Of Rags future this program will make the largest impact. We are very much a startup company. No business model is the silver bullet to free the world from inequity. Only individual choices on an everyday scale can do this. We have a vision to make this happen, now we are seeking help to connect our vision with the resources we need to make it a reality. Thanks for following and for your thoughts!Peace,Branson

Sarav makka Not sure about the cost effectiveness for sinlge family homes, but with the raising APARTMENTS and BIG COMMUNITIES in chennai, it would definitely work out a smart idea to have these type of water re-used by filtering IN-HOUSE. Nice thought though How you have been..?.. Good luckRaj

I think the casino will be a great thing. Muskegon County needs any kind of jobs it can get. I just hope it gets funtniocal while I'm still young enough to enjoy it. Muskegon County is notorious for being twenty years behind everybody else.

How three recently built or remodeled Monona buildings are managing rainwater runoff from their roofs, sidewalks, and parking lots to keep sediment, nutrients, and other pollutants out of our lakes and rivers, and to reduce area flooding.
