Snapping Turtle

I saw this snapping turtle migrating across a Cranbrook campus road on Friday evening, April 2, 2010. A driver had stopped to ensure safe passage. Be extra careful driving on roads near wetlands and rivers in the spring to ensure a safe migration for turtles traveling to new habitats and nesting areas.
